Anglesey Coastal Path - Accommodation booking and luggage service

The Anglesey Coast Path is over 125 miles long and runs through some of the finest coastal scenery in Wales. Much of the Anglesey coastline is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) (one of 5 areas in Wales). It is a varied coastline and the coastal path crosses sandy dunes, wide estuaries, rocky cliffs and rolling farmland. From many points along the walk there are fantastic views over to the Snowdon hills and the Llyn Peninsula. On clear days you can see as far as the Isle of Man and even the mountains of Ireland. There is abundant  wildlife, including many sea birds and seals and you may be lucky enough to see dolphins.

Highlights of the Coastal Path include attractive villages of Cemaes and Moelfre; fantastic  views from Holyhead Mountain (the highest point on Anglesey), Thomas Telford's Menai Suspension Bridge (the world's first large iron suspension bridge) South Stack Lighthouse and seacliffs,  the Church of St Cadwaladr at Llangadwaladr, a former royal chapel and burial ground, Beaumaris with its castle, Jacobean courthouse and Victorian gaol and Penmon Priory and Dovecote.

The Coastal Path starts at Holyhead.  The route is fully waymarked with the Anglesey Coastal Path logo making it easy to follow.

Tell us how far you want to walk, whether you want a rest day and any other particular requirements. We help you plan the stages, make b & b bookings, pay b & b's, make arrangements for packed lunches and evening meals (in more remote areas) and arrange the transfer your luggage. Accommodation has been carefully selected in farms, guest houses and pubs and all welcome walkers. Most rooms have en suite or private bathrooms (very occasionally in more remote areas this isn’t possible).
