Cheshire
Cycleway
Various
options - 5 nights strenuous, 8 nights -
moderate or can tailor to suit
The Cheshire Cycleway is a signposted
176 mile cycleway looping around the county. It follows
quiet country lanes and explores the countryside of Cheshire from
the Welsh border, across the gentle plains through to the Peaks in the
east, taking in many attractions and lovely places to eat.
Cycling is varied and includes some more hilly sections on the edge of the Peak
district, although this loop can be missed for those looking for gentle
cycling only!.

There are many places to visit either on, or close to, the route if you
want a break from the saddle, including fine houses like Gawsworth Hall,
half timbered villages like Barthomley, and the ruins of Beeston Castle.
We offer flexible options on
this holiday. The full route can be done as a strenuous holiday over 5
nights, for keen cyclists, or an 8 night holiday for those wanting
moderate distances. There are a couple of options to shorten the full
cycleway to 7 or 6 nights missing the Wirral
section, or the hillier Peak District section. We can also tailor holidays
to meet your specific requirements. Please contact us with your
requirements and we can put together a specific itinerary. All holidays start near
Chester.
