Cottages in quiet countryside with cycle hire and routes, walks or a combination of both. Other activities include riding/trekking, sailing, canoeing, golf, fishing and hot air ballooning. Cottages booked on a rental only basis, or with an option to cycle. For all cottages you receive a pack of background information about the area, things to do, maps and selection of gentle walks or bike rides. The cycling option includes bike hire ( helmets, tool kits). Walks are a gentle 4 - 6 miles, bike rides a mixture of gentle 10 - 15 miles and moderate ones of 20 - 25 miles.

North Shropshire 

The Stables, West Felton, Ellesmere

Newly converted sandstone long barn on working farm, sleeping 8, plus 1 or 2. Fantastic views over to the welsh hills. Short drive to Oswestry, Ellesmere and Llangollen. Nearest pub and shop just over a mile away. Ideal for 2 families.  

Accommodation - 5 bedrooms - 2 double (1 ensuite), twin, bunk room and ‘cabin’. Large sitting room (TV, video), 2^nd living room/kitchen (TV, Video, cooker, fridge, washer) well equipped dining/kitchen (electric cooker, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher). Bathroom and 2 shower rooms. Central heating and electricity, included. Bed linen (duvets), towels provided. The Stables is no smoking. Enclosed garden, terrace with garden furniture, barbecue.

Middle Farm Holiday Cottages

All three cottages have been recently converted from old farm buildings. There is a large garden and adjoining courtyard with barbecue area. There is a shared laundry with coin operated washing machine, tumble drier. There is also a freezer. All the cottages have oil fired central heating and heating is included during the summer. There is an additional charge during the winter. Linen and towels are provided.

GOOSEYARD COTTAGE sleeps 4 in a double and a twin room with bunk beds. Upstairs is a bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs is an open plan living/dining/kitchen. There is a colour TV and the kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, electric cooker and dishwasher.

DAISY'S PLACE Sleeps 4 in two twin rooms, one with twin beds and the other with full sized bunk beds. Upstairs is a bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs is an open plan living/dining/kitchen. There is a colour TV and the kitchen is well equipped with fridge, electric cooker and dishwasher.

THE BARN is a 15th century, listed building sleeping 6 - 7. On the ground floor is a large entrance hall, well equipped kitchen (with electric cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher) and large living room with dining table and chairs. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with seperate shower. On the first floor there are two twin bedded rooms (one with an additional z bed) and a bathroom.
