Way - Accommodation booking and luggage service
This
81 mile well signed path runs from Ilkley in North Yorkshire to Bowness on
the edge of Lake Windermere in the Lake District. The route mainly follows
riverside paths along the Rivers Wharf,
Dee and Lune, with some higher level walking as it
crosses the Pennine Moors near Ribblehead.
  
The
walk is well signposted and highlights of the
Dales Way Path include Bolton Abbey and the attractive
villages of Burnsall,
Buckden, Grassington, Kettlewell and Dent. The route also passes through the
small town of Sedbergh.
 
Tell us how far you want to walk, whether you want a rest day and any other
particular requirements. We help you plan the stages, make b & b
bookings, pay b & b's, make arrangements for packed lunches and evening meals (in more
remote areas) and arrange the transfer your
luggage. Accommodation has been carefully selected in farms, guest houses
and pubs and all welcome walkers. Most rooms have en suite or private
bathrooms (very occasionally in more remote areas this isn’t possible).
