Description
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail follows the fabulous West Wales coastline from St Dogmaels in the north to Amroth in the south. In the last year Pembrokeshire beaches were voted the 2nd best in the world by the National Geographic and the Coast Path was voted one of the best long distance walks in the world, ahead of the Inca Trail.
The trail offers magnificent clifftop walking, unspoilt sandy beaches, tiny fishing villages, off shore islands and wonderful wildlife including dolphins, puffins and seals as well as many seabirds. Highlights include the small city of St Davids with the cathedral and ruined chapel of St Nons nearby, the lovely towns and fishing villages of St Dogmaels, Newport, Solva, Dale and Little Haven, fabulous beaches of Whitesands Bay, Newgale, Marloes Sands, the Norman Castles of Pembroke and Manorbier, and the beautiful lily ponds at Bosherston.
We can arrange your walk either south to north, or north to south for either the whole trail or any section of it.
Accommodation booking and Luggage Service - Tell us how far you want to walk, what distance each day, whether you want a rest day and any other particular requirements. We help you plan the stages, make b & b bookings, pay b & b's, make arrangements for packed lunches and evening meals (in more remote areas) and also arrange the transfer of your luggage. We visit all the accommodation we use and have carefully selected the farms, guest houses, pubs and hotels. They are all comfortable and welcome walkers. Almost all rooms have en suite or private bathrooms (very occasionally in more remote areas this isn’t possible).
