the quiet countryside and history of north Shropshire and the area around
Shrewsbury. The scenery is varied. The first few days are easy
cycling on the Shropshire Plain. Then head
towards the foothills of the Shropshire hills. There is an uphill
climb onto the Long Mynd with fantastic views and then downhill,
back onto the Shropshire Plain for a gentle finish to the holiday.

176 mile route, following quiet lanes, looping round the county and
passing many attractions. It explores the varied countryside from
Chester near the Welsh border, across the gentle plains, to the
edge of the Peaks in the east and back to Chester through quiet
villages of the south of the county.
