Byways Breaks respect your privacy and all personal information is stored and processed in accordance with our privacy policy. The privacy policy sets out what information we collect, how we collect it, and what we do with it. Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. This privacy statement therefore does not cover other websites linked to from our site.

We will not pass on personal information for any reason apart from organising your holiday. All personal information that is collected and used complies with the Data Protection Act 1998. We use your personal information to enable us and our suppliers to fulfill your bookings and provide you any information you request about our products and services. We do not share your personal information with any third party organisations that are not involved in the arrangements of your holiday.

In order to provide the best service that we can we collect certain personal information about you, this is done via a number of methods.

  •  When you make an enquiry with Byways Breaks and inform us of the activities you are interested in and give other personal information, we will store your e-mail together with any other information, which you may provide. There is an opt out box on the enquiry form if you do not wish to receive further information from us.
  •  When you order a brochure we need to know your name and address in order to send it to you. Unless you advise us otherwise we will add you to our mailing list unless you make a request not to be added to the mailing list.
  • When you book a holiday we need to know information about you or your group, such as your names, addresses, contact details, credit/debit card details, payment details, information relating to medical conditions and dietary requirements, emergency contact details. This allows us to process your booking and send you your holiday details. We also ask for your telephone number and e-mail address in case we need to contact you urgently if there is a problem.
  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

Cookies - Most websites use cookies. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalised service. Cookies cannot be used by themselves to identify you.
