2023 walking holidays

After a difficult couple of years it was good to welcome back so many walkers in 2022. A huge thanks to the B & Bs, taxis and other people doing our luggage transfers for ensuring our holidays ran so smoothly last year.

2023 is booking up fast particularly for our most popular walks like Offa’s Dyke Path, and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.  Availability for May is limited on these popular walks and although June is busy we have a bit more availability on other walks like the Shropshire Way and Glyndwr’s Way. For the best choice of accommodation booking  early is advised, particularly if you’re a larger group or have fixed dates.

Accommodation booking and luggage transfers

Byways Breaks offer a flexible route planning, accommodation booking and baggage transfer service for people walking long distance trail walks. We help you plan your walking holiday around the distance you want to walk and  places to stay. We book accommodation in walker friendly B & Bs/hotels and organise luggage transfers. This is a flexible service aimed at independent walkers who don’t want a fully packaged walking holiday, but would like some expert help organising their holiday. Booking accommodation on some parts of walks can be difficult as accommodation in remote areas can be scarce. Use our experience and knowledge of the area, the trails, and accommodation options to help you plan your walking holiday.
