How to book your walking or cycling holiday

How the booking process works

  1. For trail walking holidays we will put together a tailor-made itinerary and confirm a price. For other holidays we will contact you if we need any further information from you.
  2. We then check availability of accommodation. For short breaks this normally takes a day or two, longer holidays can take up to a week. Please don’t book any flights etc until we have been able to confirm your holiday booking. We will contact you if there are any problems with availability.
  3. Once we have checked accommodation availability we will confirm your booking. We will send you a detailed booking form which you need to complete and return along with the deposit payment (£100 per person for short breaks, or £150 for longer holidays). Payment can be made by debit, credit card, bank transfer or cheque.
  4. Once we receive your deposit and booking form we will send a booking confirmation with details of your itinerary and where you will be staying.
  5. Your balance payment is normally due 6 weeks before departure (this is reduced to 4 weeks during the Covid-19 pandemic). Your detailed holiday pack will be sent out 1 – 2 weeks before your holiday.
