Early booking offer for 2019. Book your 2019 holiday before the end of November and we will hold 2018 prices.

Byways Breaks 2019 walking and cycling holidays will be online in early December. Bookings for next year are already coming in, mainly for walking holidays on the popular long distance trail walks like Offa’s Dyke Path, and the Pembrokeshire Coast path.

If you’re planning your walking holiday on Offa’s Dyke Path in May, early June 2019, you will need to avoid being in Hay between 23 May and 2 June, when the popular Hay Festival is on. Most accommodation in Hay is fully booked for then, although we may be able to squeeze an odd room booking, if we’re lucky! The end of May is always a really busy time in Hay and the surrounding area.

Other busy times on Offa’s Dyke walk, are the around the Llangollen Eisteddfod which is on 2 – 7 July 2019 and the Royal Welsh Show which is 23- 25 July in the Knighton area. The Pembrokeshire Coast gets very busy in the summer with other holiday makers as well as walkers so its always a good idea to book this walking holiday early to get the best choice of accommodation.
