What our customers say

Customer feedback about our cycling and walking holidays is very important to us. We really listen to what our customers say about and use their feedback to improve our holidays. Byways Breaks consistently get scores of 9 and 10 out of 10, for overall holiday experience. We get many customers returning to book cycling and walking holidays with us, or recommending Byways Breaks to their friends and families. In 2008 we were proud to be awarded ‘Best Holiday Experience’ by Visit Chester and Cheshire. Some of the reviews we have received from our customers include:

Byways Breaks put together a bespoke route for me and organized all the stops and the baggage transfers. It all went very smoothly. Several of the B & Bs commented that Byways would visit them in person, so I always felt I would be looked after well. The level of care is very reassuring and I would certainly use you again for that reason.

JG - Shropshire Way walking holiday - July 2017

We had a fantastic holiday, everything was beautifully organised and straightforward. Highly recommended

PJ - Pembrokeshire Coast Path walking holiday - July 2017

We feel our needs and wishes were very well catered for – the daily distance was just what we asked for. Excellent overnight stays and all luggage transfers and pick-ups were on time and all involved were very helpful. We so appreciated meeting Carolyn to thank her in person. All in all a wonderful holiday in beautiful countryside/

MM - Sandstone Trail walking holiday - July 2017

Overall Offa’s Dyke is a wonderful walk and Byways hard work was clearly evident, staying at 15 B &Bs without a single issue showed great organisation, well done.

WB - Offa's Dyke - July 2017

Overall we just wanted to say how much we enjoyed the walk, your organisation was superb and choice of accommodation was excellent. Enjoyed our meal at the Corn Mill in Llangollen and good food at the White Horse near Eyarth station. A special mention should be given to the community shop in Llandegla which provided tea and scones at the end of our day and sandwiches in the morning.

PW - Offa's Dyke Path - June 2017

Overall arrangements worked without a hitch. Level of service and comfort was generally higher in private B & B. pubs and inns a slightly lower standard. Appreciate the constraints on route plans (and otherwise long walk) but if possible avoid the descent into Longton
